WWE WrestleMania: nWo spot was planned prior to Scott Hall’s death

WWE was planning on bringing the nWo into Dallas for WrestleMania 38 prior to Scott Hall’s tragic passing, it has been revealed.

WWE 2K22 is one of the sponsors for WrestleMania 38 next weekend, with the game having an incredibly successful launch last month.

WWE is going to be doing a lot of promotion for the game over ‘Mania weekend, but plans that the company did have won’t be able to go ahead anymore.

Fightful Select is reporting that WWE was planning, at least tentatively, to bring the nWo to Dallas for a promotional piece for the game.

The New World Order are the cover stars for the most expensive version of WWE 2K22, and WWE was planning on bringing the faction to Dallas for some promotional material for the video game.

This was planned prior to Scott Hall’s tragic passing on March 14, with Fightful writing:

WWE had tentatively planned the NWO to be a part of WrestleMania weekend to some degree, Fightful is told. Ahead of Scott Hall’s passing, Fightful heard that WWE had planned to bring in him and other members of the New World Order to WrestleMania weekend for a promotional spot for their new WWE 2K22 game.

Fightful goes on to explain that it’s unclear on whether or not the other members of nWo are going to be brought on, but has reiterated that there were plans for the group prior to Hall’s passing.

Once again, everyone here at GiveMeSport would like to extend its condolences and best wishes to the friends, family and fans of Scott Hall at this incredibly difficult time.

Make sure you stay tuned to GiveMeSport over the next week or so for more news on what WWE is planning for WrestleMania week, the biggest week in the wrestling calendar.
