Scotland in Euro 2024 tickets boost as UEFA hand Tartan Army one last chance at gold dust briefs

The Tartan Army are set for a Euros ticket boost after UEFA announced they’re giving fans “one last chance” to get their hands on gold-dust briefs.

Scotland will kick-off the tournament against hosts Germany in Munich on June 14 - but with sky-high demand to see the game live, huge swathes of supporters had resigned themselves to missing out. However, UEFA are now set to launch a fresh scramble after confirming they will put 100,000 tickets on sale at 9am on Thursday morning.

The new briefs - which cover all three of Scotland’s group games as well knock-out round clashes all the way up to the final - have been made available after tournament organisers finalised stadium seating plans. UEFA also say “a significant number of restricted-view tickets” will be put up at discounted prices, meaning Scotland fans have the chance to see Steve Clarke’s team in action for as little as £30.

The governing body said in a statement: “The last-minute sale will run on a first-come, first-served basis until all tickets are sold, and this is likely to be the last chance for fans to purchase tickets to watch Euro 2024 matches live at a stadium.

“As with previous sales phases, the tickets are expected to sell out very quickly – especially for high-demand fixtures, such as games involving the host nation Germany or the final itself.

“The number of available tickets will vary from match to match. In total, more than 100,000 tickets will be released.”

Fans can try their luck by logging into EURO2024.com/tickets on Thursday morning. As well as the opening game, Scotland take on Switzerland in Cologne on June 19 before their Group A curtain-closer with Hungary in Stuttgart four days later.
