Saturday sport: Interprovincial football series concludes tonight

Manchester United welcome Brentford to Old Trafford, while Ipswich Town host Everton.

Newcastle play Brighton, and Southampton face Leicester.

There is a 5.30pm start to the meeting of Bournemouth and Arsenal.

Jacob Stockdale and hooker James McCormick each scored a pair of tries to maintain Ulster’s unbeaten home record in the URC.

They were 36-points to 12 bonus point winners over the Ospreys at Kingspan Stadium last night.

There's another interpro clash to look forward to tonight in Galway, as Connacht take on Leinster from 7.35pm.

Before that, Munster begin their stint in South Africa, weathering the Stormers from 5pm.

Ulster will play Connacht in this evening’s finale to the Interprovincial football series at Croke Park.

Ulster beat Munster 0-23 to 2-11 on Friday night, while Connacht beat Leinster in the evening’s opening fixture.

Leinster and Munster will be this evening’s curtain-raiser from 5.30pm.

Lara Gillespie registered another top-10 finish at the World Track Cycling Championships in Denmark on Friday night.

She followed a fifth place finish in Thursday’s Elimination Race, with eighth in the Women’s Omnium.

Gillespie returns to the velodrome along with Mia Griffin for the Madison this evening.
