Sam Fender criticised for 'pricing ordinary people out' as new Manchester Co-op Live date added
Sam Fender has been criticised by fans for ‘pricing ordinary people out’ as he confirms a second Manchester date on his upcoming UK tour.
The North Shields musician, whose songs include Seventeen Going Under and Getting Started, announced last week a string of tour dates later this year to coincide with the release of his upcoming third album.
The ten-date tour will now include two dates at Manchester’s Co-op Live on December 6 and 7, alongside two nights in both London and Glasgow. The tour will kick off at Dublin’s 3Arena on December 3.

General sale for all dates will begin on Friday (October 25) at 10am via Ticketmaster. However, some fans have been able to access a number of pre-sale opportunities ahead of Friday - with a number of people criticising the ticket prices as ‘grim’ and ‘an insult’.
There are a number of pricing tiers available for the tour, with seats for the Co-op Live shows costing between £53 and £76 after fees. Standing tickets are currently priced for the Manchester shows on See Tickets for £67.60 after fees - although other dates have risen to around £82.75 after fees.
