Salford Uni student, 20, found lump on neck while rolling over in bed - now she's having chemo

A Salford University student is undergoing chemotherapy after she found a big lump on her neck while rolling over in bed. Immy Hall, 20, was in her first year of her interior design course when she started to feel ill but put it down to student life and communal living, YorkshireLive reports.

Her symptoms included night sweats and a worsening of her eczema condition. Immy said: "At Easter time I was laid in my bed at university feeling ill. I rolled over and realised I had this big lump on my neck."

Immy said: "Although the diagnosis still doesn’t seem real, I’m feeling good and I’ve recently been told, following an interim scan, that my treatment won’t take quite as long as we first thought, which is really great news."

Immy said she was overwhelmed by the effort her friends were making to raise money on her behalf: "When they come down
