“Safe to say…” – Marlon Fossey pens message to Bolton fans following injury blow

Fulham loanee Marlon Fossey has sent a message to Bolton fans after his season was ended due to injury. 

The 23-year-old joined on loan in January and quickly became a fan favourite but has been ruled out for the rest of the season after picking up an injury in last weekend’s defeat to Plymouth Argyle.

It seems Fossey has loved being at the North West club as he took to Twitter yesterday to send a message to fans and reflect on his time with the Whites.

Playing week in, week out for this club and with this team has been an honour, so it’s frustrating that an injury has cut things short.

I think it’s safe to say that I’ll never have a chant that tops the one I have here
