S Club recall desperate phone calls to Paul Cattermole before discovering his sudden death
S Club stars have recalled their desperate attempts to get in touch with bandmate Paul Cattermole before discovering he had tragically died. It was announced on Good Friday this year (April 7) that the founding member of the 1990s pop group was found dead at his home in Dorset on April 6 aged 46.
His death came as the band excitedly announced their plans to reform for a 25th anniversary reunion tour later this year. Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Jo O'Meara, Rachel Stevens and Bradley McIntosh have shared their plans to continue with the 15-date arena tour in tribute to Paul, which they have rebranded The Good Times Tour - a reference to a 2001 song on which he had lead vocals.
However, fellow band member Hannah Spearritt recently confirmed she would now not be joining them for the shows as she comes to terms with the loss of her bandmate and former on-off partner. The band has since rebranded as S Club.
