Rylan Clarke pays for private jet to bring mum Linda home after holiday fall

Rylan Clark has revealed he hired a private jet to get mum Linda home after she was hospitalised while they were away on holiday. The 71-year-old had to have surgery after what the star described as "quite a bad fall" in Spain.

Last week he shared that Linda's accident came as they enjoyed her first holiday in years. Rylan said it resulted in his mum having surgery and told fans he was praying for a quick recovery, with photos showing her with her arm in a sling and leg strapped up.

On Thursday (September 7) he shared a photo to Instagram of a private jet on a runway. He said: "She might have broke an arm and a leg but she’s cost me an arm and a leg! LINDAS COMING HOME!!"

He added: "Massive thank you to the amazing team and surgeons at @helicopterossanitarios. Thanks for looking after my mum x"

Rylan also shared a photo of Linda on stretcher being taken onto the plane by a paramedic. Another showed her on board and all settled in for her flight home.

Rylan and Linda share a close relationship and fans of Celebrity Gogglebox adore their appearances together on the sofa. Over the years Rylan has been open about his mum's health struggles and previously told interviewers that Linda has Crohn's disease.
