Rylan Clark sends his 'apologies' with cheeky 'peach' snap after support from Ruth Langsford

Rylan Clark has sent his 'apologies' to fans and BBC Radio 2 listeners as he shared a cheeky 'peach' snap. The radio and TV host, who has his own Saturday afternoon show on the station, spent his weekend living it up at Radio 2's Party in the Park.

The station's stars flocked to Leicester for the two-day festival where headline acts included Kylie, Simply Red, Sam Ryder, Lemar, Rick Astley, Jessie Ware, Shalamar and the Pretenders.

Following Kylie Minogue's closing set on Sunday night, Rylan took to Instagram where he shared a string of pictures and videos showing him partying away behind the DJ decks, enjoying a hug with Dermot O'Leary and watching the Australian pop star.

"The best weekend @bbcradio2," he captioned the post to his 1.8 million followers. Loose Women star Ruth Langsford was quick to respond, writing: "Go son!!" with a red love heart.

And his fans and followers, including those who attended the big event, were also keen to share their comments, as @valerieplant1958 simply said: "A-MAZ-ING!!"and @lexitravis1974 commented: "Loved Rylan’s DJ set on Saturday, looked like he was having the best time. So pleased I got up to the front for this one."
