Ryanair passengers should book one seat for more legroom - without paying extra

For those bound for sunnier climes on summer holidays from the UK, there's often a trade-off between saving pennies and personal comfort.

However, if you're travelling with Ryanair, one particular seat has been dubbed the 'budget business class,' providing an affordable yet comfortable flying experience.

This special seat offers ample leg space, bordering on limitless, making it something of a travellers' dream.

You'll find this unique spot on board the Boeing 737-Max 8200 planes - aim to book seat 29A next time. Located beside the emergency exit, this space lacks any seating in front obstructing your stretch.

A Flyertalk forum enthusiast recently enthused, "As someone who was lucky enough to be randomly allocated 29A on a flight not long ago, the virtually unlimited legroom was definitely appreciated! ", reports the Mirror.

In stark contrast, steer clear of 11A when booking Ryanair. This notorious seat comes up short with either a minuscule or non-existent window view.

And over on Seatlink, other seats that travellers might want to swerve are 33A to F, infamous for their proximity to lavatory facilities.

But don't fret if seat 29A slips through your fingers. According to consumer watchdog Which?, a recent 2023 survey places the limelight on legroom and seat width rankings across 12 top short-haul airlines operating from the UK, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

Aer Lingus, Lufthansa, and KLM have been highlighted as the airlines offering the most generous seat pitch, with measurements of 31-32 inches, 29-33 inches, and 30-32 inches respectively. If you're unable to secure a Ryanair seat, these airlines might be worth considering for that extra bit of stretch.
