Ryan Lowe responds to Rangers next manager move as Preston North End boss refuses to bury the story

Ryan Lowe has responded to the news he is on Rangers’ radar to succeed Michael Beale in the Ibrox hotseat, admitting that managing the Ibrox side is a "fantastic opportunity".

Record Sport exclusively revealed Light Blues chief executive James Bisgrove has made inquiries about the cost of prising the Preston North End manager away from Deepdale. And the former Bury and Plymouth boss, who has the Lilywhites flying high in the English Championship, was quizzed on the news ahead of his side’s trip to face Leicester City on Wednesday night.

But, my sole importance is Preston North End and there will probably be another manager linked with it this afternoon, tomorrow and whenever. For us, it is just the work we are doing.
