Ryan Kent bizarre Fenerbahce LOAN link leaves fans gobsmacked as Turkish giants eye 3 big transfer targets

Ryan Kent could be sent out on LOAN if Fenerbahce land two of three transfer targets, according to a bizarre report in Turkey.

The former Rangers man only made the switch to the Istanbul Super Lig giants at the start of the month on a four-year deal but already it’s been claimed that he could be on the move again. That, according to Fotomac, is a scenario that is possible if Fenerbahce sign at least two of a trio of wide men on their radar.

Two of the three players named worked under Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City and have been linked with the Parkhead side as potential replacements for Jota. The first is ex Shakhtar Donetsk man Tete and the second Cengiz Under of Marseille who had a loan spell at the King Power Stadium from Roma. And the third name listed in the report is Seville’s Argentinian winger Lucas Ocampos who was on loan at Ajax last season. Fenerbahce have also been linked with Lyon’s Karl Toko Ekambi.

Fenerbahce fans have reacted with astonishment at the suggestion Kent could be sent out soon after arriving after he netted on his competitive debut with a goal in the 5-0 Europa Conference League qualifying rout of Moldovan outfit Zimbru. One said: “Why don’t we rotate? If we are going to loan him, why did we buy Ryan Kent?” Another added: “Every team needs a reserve. If everyone only played 11 players then a squad would consist of 11, not 28. It’s a squad game.”
