Ruben Amorim's record vs Premier League sides revealed as Man United push for Sporting Lisbon boss
Manchester United's once intimidating reputation has been dwindling in recent years, with the Red Devils often seen as an opportunity for three points against a Premier League giant. However, if Ruben Amorim takes the helm, he could have other managers feeling the heat ahead of their clashes.
United are currently in talks to lure the 39-year-old away from Sporting CP following the dismissal of Erik ten Hag earlier this week. Ruud van Nistelrooy has taken over on an interim basis while United strive to secure their new manager.
Amorim has spent his entire coaching career in Portugal, managing Casa Pia, Braga and Sporting. Consequently, the potential United boss has seldom faced English opposition, with European competition being the only avenue.

While guiding Sporting to two domestic titles, Amorim has faced Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City. Despite having more limited resources, he has performed admirably, even impressing Pep Guardiola.
