Ruben Amorim’s huge net worth, interior designer wife, footballing relatives

Ruben Amorim has agreed a deal to become Manchester United manager following Erik ten Hag's dismissal - which is going to transform his life.

Amorim, 39, was given his first major opportunity as Braga manager in 2020 and won Taca da Liga in his fifth game in charge. Three months after stepping up as Braga B boss, he became the third-most expensive manager in history as Sporting paid his staggering release clause.

United are expected to match the £8.3m (€10m) release clause that Sporting paid to bring Amorim to Old Trafford. The 39-year-old is no stranger to being in demand, having been linked with the Liverpool and West Ham jobs last season, and was recently tipped as Pep Guardiola's possible successor at Manchester
