Head coach Ruben Amorim is cherishing the opportunity to take charge of Manchester United at Old Trafford for the very first time ahead of tonight's Europa League clash with Bodo/Glimt.

After his first game in charge ended in a 1-1 stalemate with Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Sunday, the United boss will be determined to mark his first home game in charge with his first victory.

United head into tonight's clash with the Norwegian side, who have never previously faced the Reds, with the expectation of scooping all three points and clinching their second Europa League win of the season.

"It will be special, but it will be more special if we win," said Amorim, speaking to United's in-house media ahead of his first home game in charge.

Since arriving in Manchester earlier this month, Amorim has made it crystal clear just how keen he is to improve United's fortunes by transforming their style of play and giving them an identity again. He wasted no time in overseeing a shift to his preferred 3-4-3 formation at Ipswich.

Amorim, in his post-match press conference, conceded that it will require time for United's players to adapt to his methods and way of playing. However long it takes, the general feeling is that Amorim will achieve his mission.
