Roy Keane warns Ange his Celtic glory means little at Tottenham as he serves up brutal EPL reality check

Ange Postecoglou won plenty of plaudits for his style at Celtic – but Roy Keane says wins at Parkhead mean little coming to the Premier League.

The Australian kicked off his reign in Glasgow with a 'we never stop' message and his high-octane Angeball played into the hype. Five trophies domestically out of six in two seasons was enough to attract Tottenham attention and his reign kicks off against Brentford on Premier League matchday one.

A major summer of change is underway at Spurs with a new boss in the building and leading marksman Harry Kane now at Bayern Munich, but fiery pundit and former Celtic midfielder Keane has a blunt message for Postecoglou. He told the Aussie that his Glasgow dominance isn't up to much over the border, saying: "There's got to be winning in football We have been critical of Spurs over the last few years, need and tidy but they don't get enough results.

"Not strong enough, not hard enough, not consistent enough. He is obviously a very positive coach and is attack-minded but getting results at Celtic would mean very little when he comes to the Premier League. It will be very difficult and he has lost his main attacking player. But give the man an opportunity, he's vastly experienced and managed hundreds of games, but it is going to be a tough ask for him."
