Roy Keane walks Postecoglou dig back as Man United hero sees the light over 'arrogance' of Angeball

Honest Roy Keane launched a U-turn over Ange Postecoglou's methods as he turned convert a mere hour after claiming there was an "arrogance" to his approach.

The Manchester United legend filleted his former club but also took time to send a nod in the direction of the Tottenham boss as his side wiped the floor with Erik Ten Hag's side during the second half of a storming 2-0 win. Former Celtic boss Postecoglou earned acclaim over the result and his informative interview which followed alongside Keane, Jamie Redknapp and Andros Townsend. But Keane raised fears over the principles of Angeball 45 minutes into the pulsating encounter at the Tottenham Stadium.

Speaking at the break, Keane bluntly told Sky Sports: "There is a lot of arrogance from Spurs. Everyone wants to play like Manchester City. If Manchester United get the time to properly pounce on the players on the half turn high up the pitch, there will be plenty of joy for them - they just have to be more clinical."

But United wilted and Spurs roared and that led to Keane lavishing the Postecoglou after experiencing his approach to the beautiful game up close and personal.

And the Irishman change his tune at full he time. He added: "I reckon he [Ange] doesn't overcomplicate things, keeps it simple. Obviously I've seen stuff before from him, particularly when he was at Celtic. A lot of the stuff he is saying is just common sense, a club like Spurs needed that. He seems to simplify that very well."
