Roy Keane warning to Erik ten Hag about Manchester United squad has never been more relevant
Erik ten Hag is having to contend with some unrest within the Manchester United dressing room and it's an issue Roy Keane has highlighted in the past.
The Manchester Evening News reported on Friday that some of the squad were growing weary of the manager's criticism during what has been a dismal start to the season.
United dressing room sources say some players believe Ten Hag has favourites within the group who he is less likely to call out. Ten Hag has previously suggested some players hadn't followed his orders or put in the necessary effort.

It's a scenario that many United managers have experienced since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement a decade ago. Player discontent has been reported previously, whether it be regarding tactics, selection decisions or man management.
Jose Mourinho experienced such an issue during his time at Old Trafford, with Keane insisting the Portuguese manager was "thrown under the bus" by his squad.
"I do think the players, obviously, get away with murder,” Keane told BBC Radio 5 Live. “Just the way they hide behind the manager, Mourinho.
“Whatever you say about the players, they have thrown him under the bus. People have said Mourinho has been falling out with players, well you would fall out with players.
"That’s the name of the game and players turn up overweight or players are not training properly and not producing. And then for some of them to down tools, you know, shame on some of them players.
