Roy Keane reenacts infamous phone call press conference moment 15 years on in hilarious advert
Roy Keane has recreated a memorable press conference from his time as Ipswich Town manager, where he lost patience with a reporter for allowing their phone to ring out. Back in 2009, while at the helm of Portman Road, Keane was visibly irritated when a phone rang during his press conference.
He asked the room full of reporters whose phone was ringing, noting that it was the second time it had happened during the press conference. When a reporter admitted they owned the phone and were letting it ring out, Keane sarcastically commented, 'That is good manners'.
Now, 15 years later, Keane has humorously revisited the incident by reenacting the press conference. The Manchester United legend features in an advert announcing the launch of Sky Mobile in Ireland, where he is parodied by impressionist and comedian Conor Moore.

Moore portrays Keane at a press conference, while the former Ireland midfielder pretends to be the offending reporter. Keane took on the role of Ipswich Town boss in April 2009 and managed the club for 81 matches, securing 28 victories.
Prior to this, he spent two years as Sunderland manager, leading the club back to the Premier League. Keane has not held a managerial position since leaving his role as Ipswich boss in January 2011.
