Roy Keane names Manchester United player at fault for Richarlison goal for Tottenham

Roy Keane has blamed Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana for Tottenham Hotspur's first goal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

United took the lead in just the third minute as Rasmus Hojlund fired a shot past Guglielmo Vicario in the Spurs goal, before Brazilian forward Richarlison nodded home the equaliser from a corner 15 minutes later. Erik ten Hag's men would go on to regain the lead following a well-taken effort by Marcus Rashford, handing the hosts a 2-1 lead at half-time.

But the match was soon level again as Uruguayan midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur beat Onana just one minute after the interval. The game finished 2-2, with United remaining in seventh place in the Premier League.

Speaking afterwards, Keane was quick to criticise Onana for his role in the first goal for Spurs, claiming the United goalkeeper should have taken more 'control' in the situation. "Look we know that United aren’t great at defending set pieces, we’ve seen it all season and they’d had a warning earlier in the first half," he said on Sky Sports.

"The ball in had good flight, decent cross and it’s powerful enough that any touch on it goalwards will go in. If I’m Man United, I’d be looking at my goalkeeper - it’s an in-swinger, there’s a lot of bodies in there but I don’t like him standing on his line, he needs to take control of the six-yard box."

Keane also took aim at Ten Hag, adding:"There’s a lack of quality, a lack of control, a lack of belief in that squad and you hear the manager there.

"It’s hard work watching Man United now. We’re all guilty of talking about the Manchester United of old, I know he’s a manager under
