Rousey Rousey with beautiful Instagram message for WWE star after Elimination Chamber

Ronda Rousey has heaped praise on Naomi after their teg team victory at Elimination Chamber.

The pairing defeated Sonya Deville and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at the WWE Premium Live Event in Jeddah, even with Rousey’s hand tied behind her back in the match’s unusual stipulation.

After the match that saw Ronda make Deville tap to give her the team the win, the former UFC champion took to Instagram to sing the praises of her tag team partner.

“@trinity_fatu really stole the show tonight, and I got the best seat in the house to watch her work – thank you for having my back out there.”

Ronda will now head to WrestleMania to face Flair for her SmackDown Women’s Championship, a match which is expected to main event one of the nights over the first weekend of April. While Naomi’s path to Dallas remains unclear at this stage.

Rousey, who made her first appearance for WWE in Saudi Arabia also used the post to mention her ring attire for the match in Jeddah. Donning the Mizuno judo Ji she wore when she won an Bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

“Gotta admit it felt good putting my old @mizunousa competition judo gi back on.”

Rousey returned to WWE in January, winning the 2022 Royal Rumble and setting up her championship match with The Queen at WrestleMania. If she beats The Queen in Dallas, it would be her first SmackDown Women’s Championship win. Adding to her Raw Women’s Title run in 2018-2019.
