Rotherham keeper Viktor Johansson getting the pints in for fans as thanks ahead of final game

Rotherham keeper Viktor Johansson is getting the first round of 600 pints in a local pub this Saturday to thank fans ahead of his final appearance.

The former Aston Villa goalkeeper has commandeered the Cutler's Arms ahead of his final Millers bow against Cardiff City, which will bring his four years stint at the Yorkshire club to an end. The popular boozer, which his dad frequents when over to watch his boy from Sweden, will open at 9am ahead of the 12.30 kick-off, with the ex-Leicester stopper - known as the Viking - standing pints for the first 600 punters through the door as a way of thanking them for their support.

Each bevy will come with a card that features a special message from Johansson, which partly reads: "This isn't a goodbye, it's a thank you," or "Det här är inte ett adjö, det är ett tack," in Swedish. Rotherham have already been relegated from the Championship, finishing bottom by a distance on 24 points - a whopping 21 behind second bottom Huddersfield Town.
