Kemar Roofe sparks Rangers curiosity as cryptic aeroplane snap has fans sensing a final destination

Kemar Roofe has played his last home game for Rangers - but has he just drawn a line under his career in Glasgow altogether with a cryptic Instagram post?

The striker appeared to say an emotional goodbye to fans after the win over Dundee on Tuesday night as he stayed out on the pitch longer than his teammates to applaud the Ibrox faithful. He's out of contract in the summer and confirmed his imminent exit on Wednesday morning with a story revealing he's walked past Jimmy Bell's kit room for 'the last time.'

Rangers of course still have their final league game of the season to play as well as the small matter of a Scottish Cup final with Celtic on May 25. But Roofe has fans thinking he's checked out 10 days early, after a wordless post showing he's on his travels. He posted a snap of a wing of a plane, seemingly taken from the cabin, and the curious timing of it - just three days before their Premiership finale against Hearts - has punters putting two and two together.

Does it mean he's unlikely to play for the club again? One fan wrote: "Roofe post on Insta, take it he won't feature again," and another added: "Kemar Roofe just posted this on his Insta story... Does someone want to tell bro we still have a cup final to play next week?"

And one confused fan said: "What’s the deal with Kemar Roofe uploading a picture of him on a plane? Are we not expecting him to be involved in the last league game of the season and/or Scottish Cup final. I hope that Dessers’ hamstring hold has materialised into nothing."
