Ronaldo: Incredible video of Brazilian legend scoring goals that 'shocked the world'

Earlier this week, Thierry Henry claimed Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima was the ‘real Ronaldo.‘

When questioned whether he’d asked any player to swap shirts with, Henry replied: “Ronaldo. R9. The Real Ronaldo. For me, how many Ronaldo’s did you know growing up?”

Henry is right, too.

While we’ll stop short of dubbing the Brazilian the ‘real Ronaldo’ he definitely is the ‘original Ronaldo’.

Long before a certain Cristiano Ronaldo entered our lives, Ronaldo was one of the best strikers football has ever seen.

PSV, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, AC Milan – Ronaldo played for some of the biggest clubs around Europe.

While his career was stunted by damaging knee injuries, he was the best player in the world early in his career winning two Ballons d’Or in 1997 and 2002.

Ronaldo isn’t in the GOAT debate but he really should be.
