AEW Rampage Results: Sammy Guevara conquers Andrade in huge TNT Title match.

This edition of AEW Rampage featured a huge main event between Anthony Bowens and “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy to determine a spot in the Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match, while Serena Deeb laid out another 5-minute challenge and Wardlow was in action.

Sammy Guevara def Andrade El Idolo – TNT Championship Match

Both men came out flying and looked to finish the bout early. Both Guevara and Andrade went for their finishing moves but were reversed by one other almost immediately.

Andrade extends his hand to show respect to Guevara, however, Sammy was having none of it and flipped off El Idolo.

The champion continued to take control of the match, hitting Andrade with a devastating Spanish fly out of nowhere. Guevara looked to finish off the challenger with a Springboard Cutter but Andrade read it perfectly.

In the closing moments of the match, Andrade’s AHFO co-owner Matt Hardy capitalised on the referee being distracted and removed the turnbuckle pad. Andrade attempts the signature DDT from the top rope but Guevara scouted the exposed turnbuckle and incorporated it to his own advantage and hit Andrade’s head on the exposed metal.

Sammy follows up with the Springboard Cutter to once again retain the TNT Championship.

Wardlow def Nick Comoroto-

Comoroto came flying out the gate to apply pressure on Wardlow even hitting him with a stunning gut-wrench suplex.

Wardlow eventually gets Comoroto in his grasps to conduct a powerbomb symphony and dispose of Comoroto quickly.

Post-match sees Spears and Wardlow have a tense exchange with Spears wanting Mr.Mayhem to put an end to the powerbombs.

Serena Deeb def Kayla Sparks –The second edition of The Professor’s 5-minute challenge saw rookie Kayla Sparks be Serena Deeb’s next
