Ronald Koeman's cold response as Man United's Joshua Zirkzee issue is becoming impossible to ignore
Following the Netherlands' 1-1 draw with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ronald Koeman, the Dutch manager, steered clear of discussing Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee, who has been struggling for form.
Zirkzee, who joined United for a hefty £36.5million from Bologna, has yet to score in his last 14 appearances for the club and was under scrutiny to break his dry spell during the international break. In the crucial Nations League match, Zirkzee played just behind Brian Brobbey in the No. 10 position but seemed despondent throughout most of the game and was replaced by ex-United player Wout Weghorst in the 77th minute.
With Ruben Amorim now at the helm of United and set to oversee his first match in charge against Ipswich on Sunday, questions remain about how he plans to use Zirkzee. Meanwhile, there's speculation about a potential loan move for Zirkzee to Juventus.
