Roman Reigns: Goldberg's strange suggestion for who should beat WWE megastar

Roman Reigns is the top star in WWE right now, and Goldberg has revealed who he thinks should beat him.

Ever since he became Universal Champion in August 2020, fans have been talking about who should be the man to end Roman’s historic run.

Goldberg has now given his thoughts on the matter, and his answer will likely come as surprising reading to many.

WWE has a real opportunity to make a true megastar with whoever beats Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Many fans are of the belief that WWE should go with a younger star, like Gunther or Austin Theory, allowing for them to be turned into a main eventer.

However, speaking on The Bump this week, Goldberg has explained that he thinks the man to beat Roman should be Brock Lesnar, via WrestleTalk.

I think Brock most definitely has the opportunity to do it when he comes back. He’s very dominant, we’ve seen that over the past year or longer. It’s gonna take that special person to come out and dethrone him. I think there are a couple people that are more than capable of doing it.

While Goldberg doesn’t think that Brock is the only person who could beat Roman, ‘The Beast’ was the only person that he named as a potential contender.

The argument many fans will have is that Brock is already one of WWE’s biggest stars, not just today but in history, so he definitely doesn’t need the big win to make him into a megastar.

Reports from Ringside News have stated that, despite rumours to the contrary, WWE has no intention of bringing Goldberg back for Crown Jewel on November 5.
