WWE: Roman Reigns' incredible one-year body transformation after beating cancer

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns is, without a doubt, the biggest active star in wrestling right now.

It hasn’t been an easy ride for Roman to get to the top of WWE, both inside of the ring and out of it.

To go on to become Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman has had to put in the work, including getting into the best shape of his life.

The biggest hardship that Roman had to face during his time with WWE was his battle with Leukemia, which he was diagnosed with in October 2018.

At the time, Roman was the Universal Champion, but was forced to vacate his title to go and seek treatment for his second battle with cancer.

During the segment, which took place on Raw, Roman spoke as Joe Anoa’i, telling the fans about his cancer diagnosis and how he needed to go away to seek treatment.

Roman returned to WWE in February of the following year, announcing that he was in remission in what was one of the most emotional and real segments in wrestling history, as you can see below.

After beating cancer, Roman hasn’t really looked back, cementing himself as the top star in WWE the following year.

Roman worked like an utter machine in the gym the year after beating cancer, undergoing an incredible one-year body transformation, which you can see below.

Reigns was not in bad shape by any means, but ‘The Tribal Chief’ spent a lot of time in the gym and built an unreal physique during his time away from WWE in 2020 during COVID, the year after beating cancer.
