Roman Reigns: Ex-WWE star hints at real-life issues with Undisputed WWE Champion

Nia Jax has thrown some shade and hinted at some legitimate tension between her and her real-life cousin, Roman Reigns.

The Anoa’i family is, without doubt, one of the biggest families in the entirety of WWE, boasting the likes of Umaga, The Rock, Roman Reigns, The Usos and Nia Jax.

However, despite being real-life cousins, it seems like Nia Jax isn’t the biggest fan of Roman Reigns.

Taking her Instagram story during a Q&A, Nia said that she doesn’t “recognise” or acknowledge the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

As of right now, there’s no word on if there are any legitimate issues between Roman and Nia, but based on the Instagram post above, it does seem that way.

There were rumours of issues between them at Survivor Series 2020, with Reigns supposedly stopping Jax from using a spot during her match because he was doing the same spot in the main event.

Roman wasn’t the only caught in Jax’s firing line this weekend, as the former WWE star also threw some serious shade at Becky Lynch.

Nia was let go by WWE somewhat surprising towards the end of 2021, which at the time was rumoured to be down to the fact that she was unwilling to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

However, on social media and in interviews during the days and weeks that followed, Jax denied that her vaccination status was ever brought up when she was let go by WWE.

Jax hasn’t been afraid to speak her mind when it comes to her previous employers and colleagues, so expect more pieces like this to come out over the coming weeks and months.
