Rodri picks out Man City's unsung hero as Ederson reaction speaks volumes after Pep decision
Rodri has hailed Stefan Ortega's performance as incredible after Manchester City beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 to move with three points of a fourth consecutive Premier League title - as Ederson was reduced to tears after being substituted.
The Brazilian was replaced by Ortega with 20 minutes remaining in North London after suffering a blow to the head in an earlier collision with Son Heung-min
Ederson was quickly assessed by medical staff and despite initially carrying on, Pep Guardiola decided to substitute Ortega on in his place, a decision that left the Brazilian in tears on the Manchester City bench.
However, Ortega, who had been called into action from the bench four times this season, made a game-winning save in the 86th minute as he superbly denied Son in a one-on-one just seconds before Jeremy Doku won a penalty for Erling Haaland to convert and seal a vital 2-0 win.

And speaking to Sky Sports after the game Rodri couldn't hide his adulation of the stand-in goalkeeper, whose save has put City on the brink of an unprecedented fourth straight Premier League title.
"This is football. The areas. I think we have the best striker in the world and today he made the difference," said the midfielder. "People will talk about him [Haaland], but today the team needed two goals and Stefan [Ortega] was simply incredible.
"We were 1-0 up and he made three outstanding saves. I have no words. Eddy [Ederson] was a bit frustrated but the substitution makes sense because he had a concussion. It is history again, but we need one more effort."
