Resident Evil Re:Verse Everything We Know So far

Resident Evil Re:Verse is being developed by Capcom in honour of the Resident Evil franchise’s 25th anniversary, which took place on March 22, 2021. 

Resident Evil Re:Verse is a multiplayer spin-off game. It’s set to include asymmetric gameplay, with one group of survivors taking on the roles of various Resident Evil heroes and heroines to take on the series’ villains.

While additional information will become available the closer we get to the release date, Capcom has already revealed a few elements regarding Re:Verse.

Re: Verse features some of the franchise’s most beloved characters and villains. In this game, participants take part in a deathmatch in which they can battle as “survivors” or “bioweapons.”

The objective of the game is the same as any other deathmatch game: eliminate as many enemies as possible within the time limit. As of the closed beta, the games are quite quick, lasting only five minutes each.

Survivors must kill as many bioweapons and other survivors as possible within this time, while collecting virus capsules to enhance the bioweapons they become when killed. You may, for example, become Jack Baker from Resident Evil 7 if you acquire only one
