Record-breaking April for Manchester Airport as Dublin and Dubai among top destinations
Manchester Airport has reported a record-breaking April as more than 2.4million passengers passed through the northern travel hub last month. This was up from 2.2million in 2023 and 25,000 more than the previous record in April 2019.

Holiday favourites Alicante and Tenerife rounded off the top five destinations in April, which also included city-break hotspot Amsterdam. Despite the record-breaking numbers, 93 per cent of passengers queued for less than 10 minutes to get through security last month with services operating smoothly.
