Nicki Minaj latest: Co-op Live updates as police stop star hours before Manchester show

Fans have been left incredibly concerned Nicki Minaj will be unable to perform in Manchester tonight following a wave of drama.

Tonight's gig has been thrown into doubt after the American rapper and singer put a series of cryptic social media posts on X saying 'they're trying to keep me from MANCHESTER'. In a string of posts on her profile, she said that her luggage has been taken at the airport while travelling from Amsterdam to attend the gig.

During a video she then posted onto her Instagram and X profiles, the American rapper and singer can be seen talking to an Amsterdam officer who accuses her of "carrying drugs". He can then be seen urging her to go into what appears to be a police van while he tells her she will be going to a "police station".

She then posted at 4pm that she had to attend a police station to give a 'statement'. She has not posted since, and was originally due on stage in Manchester at 8pm. There are reports that she has been arrested in the Netherlands, however this has not been confirmed at this stage.

While Co-op Live has only said in a statement that door opening to tonight's show will be pushed back to 7pm, fans have been left fearing that issues in Amsterdam might mean otherwise.

Fotoage from her Instagram live also appeared to show her arrest, where an officer told her she would have to go to the police, station over supposed allegations that there were drugs in her luggage. She has not posted on her social media accounts since and fans are anxious with no updated response from the show's promoters.
