Rate Huddersfield Town's players and have your say after win against Luton Town

Huddersfield Town needed second-half strikes from Jon Russell and Naby Sarr to ensure back-to-back victories to keep their play-off push on track. Fresh from a win over Hull City, the Terriers win over Luton Town consolidates their place in the Championship's top six with five games to play.

Russell gave Town the lead just prior to the hour mark with a well worked goal from Daniel Sinani's throw in. The visitors saw Elijah Adebayo squander a golden chance to level from the spot just ten minutes later, but the Luton forward could only guide his spot kick onto the post.

Town made sure to capitalise on Luton's misfortune. Substitute Naby Sarr headed Sorba Thomas' corner beyond James Shea into thee back of the net with two minutes of normal time remaining to round off a memorable evening at thee John Smith's Stadium.

The second-half was a complete contrast to a cagey opening 45 minutes, with neither side testing the opposition keeper in the first-half. Town boasted the better of the chances with Sinani going close, Harry Cornick with the only shot on target for the hosts in the first half. The result sees Town leapfrog Nottingham Forest into third, but Steve Cooper's side have two games in hand on the Terriers.
