Rasmus Hojlund pricetag set amid Manchester United interest and more transfer rumours

Atalanta have placed a price tag of €65-€70 million on star striker Rasmund Hojlund, according to reports.

It's set to be another exciting and expensive transfer window for Manchester United and a quality striker to bring much-needed goals to the side is the biggest priority. Erik ten Hag has made Harry Kane his prime target but it could be difficult to prise him away from a reluctant Tottenham even if he is in the final year of his contract.

With that in mind, United have penned a strong short-list of alternative options should they fail to land the England captain. Victor Osimhen is the headline but Mohammed Kudus, Goncalo Ramos, Randal Kolo Muani and Hojlund are all on it as well.

Hojlund is a particularly exciting option as the 20-year-old has burst onto the scene this season with 14 goals and six assists for Atalanta as well as five goals in his first four games for Denmark. He has already earned comparisons to Erling Haaland and there is set to be plenty of interest in him this summer.

Hojlund won't be available on the cheap, though, as Correire della Serra reports Atalanta want a minimum of €65million for their prized asset and would probably want even more.

Meanwhile, United reportedly lead the race for Monaco defender Axel Disasi.

As well as a striker and midfielder, United may also need to add yet another centre-back to their ranks with the futures of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof uncertain. According to FootballInsider, their sights have been set on Disasi.
