Manchester United 'ready to return to Victor Osimhen deal' and other transfer rumours

Manchester United are reportedly willing to return to the table to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer.

MEN Sport understands Osimhen is on a shortlist of targets who Erik ten Hag will look at should a move for Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane fall through. The Nigerian forward has enjoyed a stellar year in Italy.

The 24-year-old has scored 27 goals this campaign which included the all-important equaliser which secured the Serie A title vs Udinese in midweek. According to Corriere della Sera, United are willing to enter negotiations to sign Osimhen in the summer.

It is claimed, Napoli want £131m for their striker but the Reds are not willing to pay this amount. Currently, his deal in Naples expires in 2025 but his club are looking to extend his stay beyond then.

The Italian newspaper adds Osimhen turned United down previously when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was in charge. It is understood he did this out of respect towards his fellow countryman Odion Ighalo.

Elsewhere, United have reportedly been told the price they would need to pay to sign Tammy Abraham. Jose Mourinho's forward has scored nine goals this season but has previously been a target for the Reds.

Fichajes claims both United and Spurs are interested in bringing the 25-year-old Englishman back to the Premier League. According to the report, Abraham is valued at £35m to £39m however he has become a regular under Mourinho making a potential deal harder.

The Manchester Evening News understands Benfica's Goncalo Ramos, Atalanta's Rasmus Hojlund and Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani are on the club's radar.
