Ruben Amorim takes over at Manchester United on Monday and doing so, will embark on one of the toughest jobs in world football.

After taking charge of his final game of Sporting CP on Sunday, Amorim will move to England and get to work with the players left at Carrington during the international break.

If United beat Leicester City on Sunday, they could climb as high as ninth in the Premier League table, if results go their way. Whatever happens, Amorim has a tough task on his hands.

Most of United's key figures will be away with their national teams in Amorim’s first week on the job. The likes of Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Matthijs de Ligt, Manuel Ugarte and Alejandro Garnacho will all have to wait to work under him.

However, players like Amad Diallo, Marcus Rashford, Leny Yoro, Mason Mount and Casemiro will all remain at Carrington meaning he will have plenty to do on the training ground.
