Rangers warned over BALL BOYS 'unsporting' conduct as UEFA get picky over Sparta Prague clash

Rangers have been issued a warning by UEFA over the actions of BALL BOYS during a Europa League clash.

The Ibrox side have been put on alert by European football's governing body over the conduct of ball boys on the side of the pitch during last month's win over Sparta Prague, Philippe Clement's first European home game in charge at the club. It was 2-1 on the night for the Light Blues as Todd Cantwell and Danilo were on target, and UEFA have now hit out with a warning to the Glasgow side over the conduct of 'unsporting' ball boys during the game.

There were no fresh fines dealt out to Rangers, and as part of Article 11, UEFA rules state: "Clubs, as well as their players, officials and members,[…] must respect the Laws of the Game, as well as UEFA’s Statutes, regulations, directives and decisions, and comply with the principles of ethical conduct, loyalty, integrity and sportsmanship."

Rangers will square off with Aris Limassol at home next Thursday before rounding off their Europa League campaign away to Real Betis next month.
