Rangers vs Celtic earns Super Sunday top billing as title crunch doubles up with Sky's EPL blockbuster

The mammoth clash between Rangers and Celtic will earn Super Sunday status on Sky Sports as it leads into a blockbuster clash at Old Trafford.

The thrilling title battle between the Glasgow rivals will have eyes across Britain transfixed from High Noon with no fixture allotted in the traditional 1.30pm English Premier League slot before action gets underway between Manchester United and Liverpool with kick-off taking place at 3.30pm.

The tradition double-header from the richest league on the planet will not take place with the only other fixture from the EPL on April 7 being moved back to the evening. Sheffield United will host Chelsea but a change in kick-off time was triggered with the city's marathon taking place on the same day. The fixture at Bramall Lane will not be televised leaving the battle between Philippe Clement and Brendan Rodgers' side to act as the the first course before eyes head to Old Trafford.

Rangers currently sit one point behind Celtic having played a game less and both know the result at Ibrox will have a seismic impact on the destination of the title with both itching to book their place directly into the revamped Champions League which guarantees two extra games in the new league format.
