Rangers transfer news bulletin as Michael Beale clarifies 'logical' Hagi situation and Kamara told Ibrox exit terms

The transfer focus at Rangers is on those who might be departing.

But Michael Beale admitted there could be one more new face to arrive before the window closes next week. The Gers will know by then if they have a Champions League group stage campaign to gear up for or not after their playoff second leg away to PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday. Beale did qualify that by saying two will likely leave at the same time.

The obvious candidates are Glen Kamara, Ianis Hagi and Scott Wright. The latter jetted to Turkey earlier this month but a move to Pendikspor didn't happen in the end. Kamara is thought to be close to agreeing a move to Leeds United, but it's Hagi's future that's of most interest. The Romanian made his comeback from injury last season after more than a year out. But reports this week emerged that Hagi was looking to move on in order to play more regularly.

Beale addressed that at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Saturday lunchtime clash with Ross County. He said: "There's been a lot of hot air around Ianis in the last week or so. But it was a logical conversation if you think about it. He's missed a year of football and we're very loaded in the positions that he plays. He wants to know if he's going to be a main starter.

"He's trained really well and when he's had an opportunity to play, I think he's done well. But over the last few weeks in those positions, other people have done well. Abdallah (Sima) and Rabbi (Matondo) scored in the week, Danilo's scored, Dessers has scored and Lammers has scored. We've had seven goalscorers across the five or six games so far.
