Rangers transfer news bulletin as Danilo contract details revealed while Malik Tillman payday put on hold by playmaker

Feyenoord striker Danilo will reportedly DOUBLE his salary should the clubs iron out the final details of a move to Rangers.

The Scottish Premiership outfit and the Dutch champions have been locked in talks over the valuation of the Brazilian attacker but Michael Beale looks set to finally get land the 24-year-old after a final bid was launched by the Ibrox powerbrokers. The Rotterdam side have reportedly seen their valuation of Danilo met and the player is keen on a move to Rangers this summer.

De Telegraaf report that the forward is set for a major bump in pay when he pens a deal in Govan with the Light Blues offering a £38k-per-week wage - which is more than double the amount he earns in the Netherlands. It is noted that Feyenoord are confident of quickly securing a replacement for the outgoing frontman with Sydney van Hooijdonk set to join from Heerenveen.

Ibrox chiefs will be hoping a windfall from Malik Tillman leaving Bayern Munich can cover some of the outlay for Danilo. However, they may be made to wait by the former loanee.

Rangers had initially hope to trigger the buyout clause in the playmaker's deal but Bayern Munich changed that they wanted to get more money for Tillman. They drew up a new agreement with Tillman by offering him a compensation fee and a percentage of the next fee.

Rangers are ready for glory as they take aim at Scottish football’s biggest prizes.

Michael Beale and his new-look Light Blues have their heart set on winning back the title and a shot at glory in the Champions League. Beale’s boys will be rubbing shoulders with the best in Europe and chasing the dream in Scotland as they try to win domestic honours. And the Daily Record have produced a stunning new souvenir guide to Rangers.
