Rangers transfer bulletin as Million Manhoef drops major clue while Malik Tillman payday jeopardised by familiar trick

Vitesse Arnhem star Million Manhoef has shown a united front with his club chiefs amid links with a move to Rangers.

The Dutch outfit could cash in on the winger who is attracting interest from Spain and England as well as from the Scottish Premiership side. Philippe Clement and director of football Nils Koppen are looking in the Dutch market as they seek winter reinforcements. Manhoef has emerged as a target with Abdallah Sima away on AFCON duty with Senegal while he could leave at the end of his loan deal from Brighton.

Reports in the Netherlands had suggested that despite needing money to keep the club afloat Vitesse boss Edwards Sturing and technical director Benjamin Schmedes would veto any exit to assist in the survival bid of the club. And Manhoef has insisted he is up for the fight - hinting a stay in the Eredivisie could be on the cards for the remainder of the campaign.

The 22-year-old told De Gelderlander during Vitesse's winter training camp: "Sometimes we have good phases in a match, but then something dramatic happens again. Things need to be much more consistent at Vitesse. We need all the points, so we have to fight for each other."
