Rangers transfer bargain resurfaces as Marco van Ginkel opens door while Joe Gerhardt told to stay in the EFL

Marco van Ginkel has hinted that a potential move to Rangers could still be on after the free agent insisted he is not ready to hang up his boots just yet.

But ex-Premier League midfielder Carlton Palmer believes Geldhardt's future would be best served by remaining in England's second tier.

Speaking to FLW, he stated: "It’s unfortunate at this moment in time that Daniel Farke is not able to give Joe Gelhardt the minutes that he wants. It’s looking likely that he goes out on loan in January. There’s a lot of competition for his signature.
