Rangers targeting booming transfer crescendo, Kasanwirjo races into contention and Colak makes swift Parma exit

It's set to be a busy final couple of hours at Rangers.

The transfer window shuts tonight and Philippe Clement still has plenty of ins and outs on the agenda. One of those heading for Ibrox is Feyenoord defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo on a season-long loan with the stopper in Glasgow ahead of putting the finishing touches on a switch to Ibrox from the Eredivisie. Sky Sports state Rangers are working on multiple deals.

Scott Wright has already left and joined Ben Davies at Birmingham City in England's League One while Todd Cantwell is on the verge of sealing his exit from Glasgow. He handed in a transfer request earlier this summer as he seekd to depart Scotland altogether and now he is expected to pen a deal with Blackburn Rovers very soon. Ianis Hagi is another who has his future up in the air still but he has interest from a fresh Romanian outfit. As Kasanwirjo gets ready to check in, the Ibrox side are continuing to work hard behind the scenes to bring in further additions. Nedim Bajrami is one on the radar from Sassuolo.

It's set to go right down to the wire for Rangers ahead of a busy weekend. Not only is there the hustle and bustle of the transfer window slamming shut but there is also the small matter of the first derby of the season on Sunday against Celtic.

Elsewhere, Antonio Colak has made a swift exit from Parma. He spent one season in Glasgow following a move from PAOK before he was sold to the Italian side. However, like his spell at Rangers, it has been short-lived as he moves on yet again. This time he penned a two-year deal with Spezia in Serie B.
