Rangers lie in 'ruins' as seething Hotline lets rip at Philippe Clement plus 2 men who MUST resign

The international break has come as a welcome rest from the doom and gloom some Rangers fans have been experiencing so far this season. For others. it’s just given them a chance to let their feelings ferment from anger to fury.

Seething supporter Jimmy Mac, Glasgow, was among those ready to let rip, blasting everyone in sight as he said: “The custodians of Rangers have placed a yes-man as manager in Philippe Clement, who has managed to create what resembles an amateur football team. Douglas Park and John Bennett ruined Rangers Football Club for self-prestige and in doing so, they have destroyed the work Dave King did to save Rangers from the former regime. If the board truly loves Rangers, they must resign. Rangers need hardcore, successful football-minded businessmen in immediately.”

John Bruce said: “It's generally accepted that Rangers are in a bit of a pickle at the moment - both on and off the park. A glaring omission at the club is the lack of a CEO. Adrian Bevington, ex MD of the English FA and former board member of Middlesborough and Hartlepool. recently spoke of the demands of a CEO.

“He obviously has a deep knowledge of all aspects of running a football club, including experience of player transfers. He also spoke of the attraction of Rangers for such a role.

"Given that Rangers have wasted tens of millions by bringing in players on huge contracts, shouldn't Rangers be pushing the boat out to try and attract someone of Bevington's calibre, rather than someone from St Mirren?”
