Rangers squad revealed as Todd Cantwell injury sparks 3 player audition for key role

Todd Cantwell has made himself a key part of Philippe Clement's Rangers revival - but the boss will have to do without the playmaker for the clash with Hearts.

The Englishman will miss up to four weeks with a hamstring injury picked up against St Johnstone leaving his Light Blues teammates to continues their push for the Scottish Premiership title without him. Cantwell has played a key role in linking up the attack and midfield in recent weeks - but the door has now opened for some of the fringe men to grasp their chance.

Tom Lawrence will hope to get the nod having struggled to land a consistent run of starts this term amid an injury-hampered campaign. Fabio Silva could also be moved into a deeper role behind Cyriel Dessers, while versatile Dujon Sterling could come into the starting line-up if Clement looks to shake up the style of play without Cantwell. There could also be a role for Kemar Roofe as he returns to the squad in search of his first appearance since December.

The striker has seen his season derailed by fitness issues - but will hope to kickstart the final run-in with an appearance against the Jambos. Despite the return of Roofe, boss Clement still has several players sidelined. Danilo, Kieran Dowell and and Abdallah Sima remain out.

But who will start for Rangers as they look to strengthen their grip on top spot? Record Sport takes a look.
