Rangers squad revealed as Fabio Silva opportunity arises, Yilmaz doubt intensifies and duo near injury comeback

It's a football free weekend for most, but at least Rangers fans have some friendly action to keep them occupied.

Philippe Clement's side take on Hertha Berlin in La Manga in the first of two tune up games organised ahead of their return to action in the Scottish Cup next weekend. FC Copenhagen visit Ibrox on Tuesday night, but first the 2 Bundesliga outfit provide the opposition in sunny Spain.

The Belgian has been hard at work on the training pitch after a whirl wind first couple of months in the dugout. This game give him a chance to try a few things without the constant pressure of winning and keeping pace with Celtic at the top of the Premiership table. Fabio Silva hasn't had much time to show what he can do since arriving on loan from Wolves, so we could see more of the Portuguese against Hertha.

Tom Lawrence is back in training but is unlikely to start as he returns from injury, although Nico Raskin could step up his sharpness with more time on the pitch. Ridvan Yilmaz is expected to complete a move to Hellas Verona over the next few days so don't be surprised to see him left out of this one. Danilo and Kemar Roofe remain injured.

Aside from Abdallah Sima being at AFCON, the rest of Clement's squad are in contention for some minutes. Expect a bit of experimenting, certainly as the game goes on and maybe some minutes for the kids who have made the trip.
