Rangers revamped XI gets punters giddy as stirring signing hint sees hype go beyond Cortes and Jefte

There's two in but potentially three more to arrive at Rangers before the transfer window closes.

A move for Brazilian Jefte could be done this week, with the Fluminense full back awaiting the green light to leave loan club APOEL Nicosia and head to Glasgow to complete the switch. With Ridvan Yilmaz reportedly interesting Galatasaray and Borna Barisic out of contract in the summer, it's a position that will need someone either now or before the start of next season. Further up the park and Oscar Cortes looks set to be on his way from Lens. A loan deal with an option to buy is thought to be be on the verge of being thrashed out with the Ligue 1 outfit for the Colombian.

And that might not be the end of the incoming transfers. The Light Blues are hopeful of adding one more on top of Jefte and Cortes. hat could well be a forward, although Lawrence Shankland is unlikely at this stage unless Rangers somehow break the bank.
