Hoops fan Brian McColligan took issue with regular caller Chris Lowe who had claimed O’Riley’s value had plummeted after Record Sport revealed Southampton were eyeing a £20m bid with add-ons. He has previously quoted values on Tierney, Ajer, Edouard and Jota and in total has been about £60 million short on his estimations whilst telling us Morelos would go for £30 million and he left for nothing. Douglas McFadzean, Giffnock, added: “Message to Chris Lowe - whatever O'Riley's value is or is not, one thing is certain, it will ace the money that failed to tumble into his team’s accounts regarding the shocking failures of his very own directors.” Meanwhile, Hoops fan Scott McAdam, Glasgow, isn’t concerned about the lack of arrivals at his club. He said: “The reason Celtic haven’t bought anyone is their targets are still at the Euros. Once it’s finished we will see players coming in.”
