Rangers fury at Dundee pitch shambles boils over as Hotline has 3 questions for Dens chiefs to answer
Puddles on the problematic Dens Park surface saw yet another match postponed as Rangers’ bid to regain top spot was bogged down.
But the Hotline callers reckon it's Dundee who should be in hot water now after their latest pitch inspection failure. Gavin McLeod, Renfrew, said: “They call it the city of Discovery - but not for the first time this season, the Dens Park pitch has more water than the deck of the aforementioned HMS voyager. Scott Gowers, Edinburgh, said: “For a fourth time this season Dens Park has had games postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Do Dundee have a reasonable drainage system in place? Was there any attempt to get rollers on the pitch as they did during a recent Scotland game at Hampden?
“The worst thing about the whole scenario is that travelling fans were already in Dundee for the match before the call off. The SPFL advise supporters to arrive early yet they make the announcement just an hour and fifteen minutes before kick off! It's an absolute disgrace as there
